I have been trying to grow my hair out forever. My hair grows at a snails pace and since having kids has just become a pain. I know many can appreciate my feelings:) Finally after many complaints to Derek about it (he wanted the long hair back that I had when I was 20...NOT 20 anymore) he finally said if you stop complaining about it then cut away! So I went and after and hour of hacking away here it is. As Derek said he probably won't ever see it long again and neither will any of you. I must add that the day after I got it cut I was having issues because I felt like it wasn't finished. There was this bit just hanging on my neck so I called my great friend Carly and drove an hour and a half to have her complete the haircut for me. I have gratitude for her talent and that she lives close enough that I can call and jump in the car and go:) All kids in toe of course. So goodbye long hair, goodbye ponytails....and good ridden's!!!

Love it, love it, love it! I have almost the same cut. I keep thinking I'll grow mine out, but it's so darn thick and wavy (requiring some sort of styling after every wash), so it's just faster having it shorter. You look awesome, and that color of your tshirt really works for you, too :)
